Hey Sisters at Substack! 💌
When God Grows Us Beyond Our Comfort, He Carries Us with His Strength.
Hey Sisters—Welcome or welcome back to My Substack! 💌
Hi Sisters,
I’m so glad you stopped to read... Whether you stumbled across this space or felt divinely led, I want to welcome you with open arms and an open heart.
This is a place where we show up—imperfectly, intentionally, and together. A space for women of faith to grow, reflect, and walk this thing out in real life with God at the center. You’ll find encouragement, truth, and reminders that you’re not alone on this journey.

My Thoughts for this awesome Sunday…
“When God Grows Us Beyond Our Comfort, He Carries Us with His Strength.”
Stretched by Grace —Stretching never feels good. But it’s necessary. A personal trainer worth their weight in gold won’t let you stop at what’s easy. They see what you’re capable of, even when you don’t. So they add more weight. More resistance. More reps. Why? Because they’re preparing you for what’s ahead, not letting you settle for where you’ve been.
God trains us the same way. He stretches us beyond what we think we can endure—not to break us, but to show us how far He can carry us.
Prayer:
Dear Lord,
I don’t always like the stretch, but I trust that You are growing me through it. I want a faith that can withstand storms, not just sunshine. So push me, prune me, and strengthen me until I look more like You. Help me to keep going even when it’s hard, because I believe that what You are developing in me is worth it.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Thank you for reminding us to stretch before the exercise. It helps us to maintain and become strong. I am 70 years old and have become so weak in the legs that if I were to fall, which I have, I am unable to get up. Those times I have found the Lord has always had someone there to help me. I long to have the muscle strength not to have to rely on others, but I am being taught that I am not doing any of this alone, which is why He wants His Children to be there for each other. Most of my life, I've suffered abuse, both physical and emotional. As a child, I experienced way too much sexual abuse. I learned early on that if I stayed away from people, I wouldn't get hurt. I now know that I need those that my Lord has brought to me, and I should not be afraid. Thank you again for sharing.
Whoops, not a sister, guess I'm in the wrong spot.
