Coram Deo — “Before the Face of God.”
⸻
Today, I just want to pause and ask you something simple…
What are you thinking?
Because—it matters.
Your thoughts shape your heart. Your heart steers your actions. And your actions reflect your walk.
Thought…What’s your spiritual truth?
Renewing My Mind
One of the turning points in my life of spending years of speaking negative thoughts of myself was when I learned 2 Corinthians 10:5:
“We take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.”
At first, it was hard to do this, take thoughts captive. I didn’t even realize how negative my thoughts were until I tried to challenge them. But I made it my goal to arrest every thought that wasn’t from God. I practiced replacing lies with truth—until it became a habit.
And then I wrote down this truth, and I began declaring it over myself daily:
Spiritual Truth Declaration
“My words, thoughts, and imaginations are surrendered to Christ. I take every thought captive and bring it into alignment with His truth. Each day I rise with God-given purpose, clarity, and direction. I am a woman of faith—speaking life, walking in love, and fully devoted to Christ.
I choose grace over offense and let go of bitterness. I walk in patience, self-control, and faithfulness. I am never alone—my Father walks with me. I stand unashamed in who I am in Him. I am made new, and sin no longer has a grip on me. Nothing can separate me from the love of God.
The Spirit of the Living God lives inside of me, and He is greater than anything I face. I will speak truth, encourage hearts, and raise my children in the Word. I will not quit—even when life is hard. I lean on the strength of the Holy Spirit to be kind, gentle, and patient. In Christ, I lack nothing.
I will choose joy over complaining, love over strife, and purpose over distractions. I will walk humbly, love mercy, and live justly before my God. The Holy Spirit leads me, strengthens me, and shows me the way.
Lord, You have broken the chains that once held me. You are my peace, my help, and my good Father. Today, I pick up my cross and follow Jesus—wholeheartedly and without hesitation, no matter the cost.”
What is yours Sis? Write it down. Your spiritual truth that must come from the mouth of God, write it, then begin declaring it over yourself daily!
